Selection and RFQ Guide for Honeywell CC-PCNT01 (51405046-175) controller module in Experion PKS C300 Systems

Honeywell CC-PCNT01 (51405046-175) controller module identifies a Honeywell Series C C300 controller assembly used in Experion PKS process-control systems. The supplied photograph shows CC-PCNT01 and assembly number 51405046-175 on the product label. Buyers should preserve both identifiers because the controller family includes multiple hardware generations and nearby part references.

Product identification and verified family context

This table separates confirmed product identity from project-dependent compatibility. It does not assign PCNT05 performance values to CC-PCNT01. Exact controller capacity, firmware support, security features and migration procedures must be checked against the installed Experion release and current Honeywell documentation.

Role of the CC-PCNT01 in an Experion PKS control system

Honeywell describes the C300 as the process controller at the heart of the Experion control system. The controller executes configured control strategies in the Control Execution Environment and works with the engineered network, I/O interfaces and field-device integration defined by the project.

For Honeywell CC-PCNT01 (51405046-175) controller module, the model number confirms the controller family but does not by itself confirm a drop-in replacement. The installed IOTA, hardware revision, memory-backup arrangement, redundancy pairing, firmware and Control Builder project must be reviewed together.

Replacement checks before ordering

1. Photograph the complete front, side and rear labels and confirm CC-PCNT01 and 51405046-175.
2. Record the installed Experion PKS release, controller firmware and Control Builder project version.
3. Identify the C300 IOTA, memory-backup module, redundancy cable and partner controller where used.
4. Confirm whether the request is for a non-redundant controller, redundant pair or shelf spare.
5. Back up the controller configuration and document the approved shutdown or migration procedure.
6. Check lifecycle status and any Honeywell-supported upgrade path before final procurement approval.

Firmware, IOTA and redundancy compatibility

A matching front model does not prove compatibility with every C300 installation. Verify the controller hardware revision and supported firmware, the exact IOTA type, slot or device-index assignment, network connections, memory-backup component and redundancy arrangement. For a redundant system, both members and the switchover procedure require an engineered review.

Before installation, retain a verified backup and define functional tests for communications, control strategy loading, I/O references, alarms, peer connections and redundancy behavior. Qualified personnel should follow site management-of-change and Honeywell procedures.

Lifecycle and migration planning

Honeywell continues to evolve the C300 family and publishes lifecycle and migration information for older PCNT controller generations. When CC-PCNT01 is requested as a replacement or strategic spare, compare the short-term need for like-for-like support with the site's longer-term controller migration plan.

Do not substitute CC-PCNT02 or CC-PCNT05 solely because the family name is similar. Any change of controller generation may require supported release levels, compatible IOTA or backup hardware, licensing, project conversion and an approved migration procedure.

Information to include in an RFQ

For an accurate quotation for Honeywell CC-PCNT01 (51405046-175) controller module, provide the complete label photographs, quantity, required condition, destination country and target delivery date. Include the installed IOTA number, Experion release, firmware information, redundancy requirement and whether matching memory-backup or cabinet components are needed.

State whether the request supports emergency replacement, planned shutdown work, a redundant pair or long-term spare inventory. This information helps separate exact-model sourcing from a migration enquiry.
