Hirschmann BRS20-0600M2M2-TTCY99HHSESXX.X.XX Extended-Temperature Planning for Four Copper Devices and Two 100BASE-FX Uplinks
Hirschmann BRS20-0600M2M2-TTCY99HHSESXX.X.XX is the BRS20-4TX/2FX-EEC configuration of the Hirschmann BOBCAT family. This EEC configuration combines four local RJ45 connections with two fixed multimode SC fiber interfaces. Its published operating range makes temperature a separate selection factor alongside optical cabling and the available cabinet supply.
For spare-parts identification, record 942170013 alongside the complete configuration printed above. The short Type remains useful for the installed-equipment register.

Multimode fiber links across changing cabinet temperatures
A fiber link should be assessed at both endpoints. Check the installed fiber type, connector termination, measured loss and permitted transmitter/receiver pairing before deciding that two ports marked 100BASE-FX are interchangeable.

Power checks for the selected hardware
Catalog supply: 2 x 12 VDC ... 24 VDC; listed power consumption: 7 W. Temperature selection does not remove the need to review the power installation. Assess the cabinet supply at the intended operating conditions, document its available capacity and follow the product terminal instructions. Keep protective wiring and any intended backup arrangement explicit in the design.
Does the EEC suffix change the fiber connector into an SFP interface?
No. This configuration still uses fixed multimode SC ports. The extended-temperature selection does not replace the need to match the physical optical connection.
Review the required industrial profile
- For a temperature-sensitive fiber cabinet, determine the required industrial integration before copying settings from a nearby switch.
- The published profile list includes EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP and IEC 61850 MMS switch-model support. Verify the applicable software revision and the settings accepted by the network owner.
